Terms of Service

Last updated: June 30, 2026 · Effective on acceptance

These Terms are for players who use the Redema app to redeem winnings earned on coin-operated amusement machines. If you are a store or business, your agreement is the operator Terms of Service instead.
Your balance is a noncash gift-card redemption of machine winnings. No cash, change, or currency is ever provided.

1. Agreement & acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Redema ("Redema," "we," "us," or "our") for your use of the Redema player app and related features (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

The Service is a digital record of a gift-card balance you earn by playing coin-operated amusement machines ("COAM") at a participating Georgia Class B licensed location. Your balance can be redeemed in two ways only:

No cash, change, or currency is ever provided. The Service is a noncash redemption tool — not a financial account, bank account, or money-transfer service. Redema is a technology provider; it is not a bank, money transmitter, or card issuer.

3. What you cannot do

4. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older and of legal age to play COAM in Georgia, have a valid U.S. mobile phone number, and use a supported smartphone. One account per person. The Service is available only in connection with participating Georgia locations.

5. Your account & identity

You sign up with your mobile phone number and a one-time code sent by text; you do not create a password. Your account is tied to your device. Using a new phone with the same number requires re-verification by text. If you lose your number, you can recover your account in person at a participating location, with the location operator's approval — never by chat or email alone. You are responsible for your device and for keeping access to it secure, and you will tell us right away if your device is lost or stolen.

6. How your balance works

7. The virtual prepaid card

8. Mistakes, holds & corrections

If a load or redemption is made in error, a clerk can flag it for the location operator to correct through a logged reversal process. We do not edit your balance directly; corrections are made by posting offsetting entries that are recorded and auditable. We may place a temporary hold on, or decline, a transaction we reasonably believe is fraudulent, duplicate, or noncompliant.

9. Acceptable use & suspension

You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to create balance without a genuine machine win, use another person's account, tamper with vouchers, or circumvent these Terms. We or a location operator may suspend or close an account for suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms or the law. Suspending or closing an account does not entitle anyone to cash, and lawful unredeemed balance remains redeemable in a permitted noncash form under applicable policy.

10. Text messages

By signing up you consent to receive account-related text messages (verification codes, receipts, and service notices) at the number you provide. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of non-essential messages; essential security and transaction texts may still be sent.

11. Privacy

Our handling of your information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. The issuing bank, not Redema, is responsible for the prepaid card itself.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Redema will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability relating to the service is limited to the value of the gift-card balance reflected in your account at the time of the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Dispute resolution & arbitration

Please read this section carefully — it affects how disputes are resolved and waives your right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.

Before bringing a claim, you agree to first contact us at info@coamredemption.com and try in good faith to resolve it informally for at least sixty (60) days. Except for claims that may be brought in small-claims court, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration body under its consumer rules, seated in Georgia, before a single arbitrator.

Disputes will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as part of any class, collective, or representative proceeding. You and Redema each waive any right to a jury trial.

15. Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 14, the exclusive venue for any permitted court action is the state and federal courts located in Georgia.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms; we will post the new version, update the date, and bring material changes to your attention in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We record the version you accepted, with the date.
